Nassau, Bahamas

Sandyport Beach Resort & Stuart’s Cove

July 30-August 6, 2022

Join Central Coast for an adventurous and educational trip to the Bahamas. This Project Aware Shark Conservation trip is great for those looking to learn more about the underwater environment we love and the apex predators that are so important to the overall health of the reef.

Accommodations for this trip have been made at Sandyport Beach Resort in Nassau. This sweet oasis right on the water is ideal after a long day of diving. There are various restaurant options that will accommodate everyone’s needs!

This resort also features a beautiful pool and a secluded beach with plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs for a relaxing afternoon.

Sandyport is well known as one of the “top boutique hotels in the Bahamas” and we cannot wait to experience this “color-clad tropical hideaway” with you!

Project Aware Course

During the AWARE Shark Conservation course you will encounter sharks like you have never before. The sharks of Nassau are used to divers, and may bump you or swim within inches of you or your camera. This is a very safe dive, but does not involve a cage or any barrier between you and the sharks. Shark species that may be seen on the dive include: Hammerhead sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks, nurse sharks, and of course the Goliath Grouper who live on the wrecks.

Our aim is to replace fear of sharks with knowledge and admiration. If the sharks die, the seas die. So join our Central Coast Dive team as we try to spread shark conservation through knowledge and experience with our amazing and beautiful sharks of the Bahamas.
