Open Water Scuba Instructor
A little bit about myself! I am all over the place (haha). I am currently a student an NKU working on my Master of Public Administration degree. I have a focus area on non-profits and hope to get into grant writing to help local non-profits in the future. I love to travel and being outdoors with anyone but especially my fur baby. A fun fact about me is I have lived in 4 different state Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona, and Florida. In Arizona I lived in the Grand Canyon National Park and Florida I was working in Key Largo as a dive instructor!
My favorite place to dive is my home away from home Key Largo – my favorite dive there is the Spiegel Grove, a wreck dive, because its large, there are a lot of places to explore and plenty of aquatic life. My favorite aquatic animal is an octopus, but those don’t appear on a lot of dives so my close second is turtles (I just love them!).
My favorite thing about teaching scuba diving is watching students fall in love with the sport. I love seeing students grow throughout classes and advancing on because they want to learn more! Scuba diving has provided me awesome opportunities like volunteering at the aquarium and the zoo in the tanks. My favorite this about diving is that it has given me lifelong friends and always grants me the opportunity to make new ones.
